At Four Willows Farm, our advanced riding lessons are designed for students who are ready to move beyond the basics and develop more refined skills in the saddle. Whether your goals include competition, personal mastery, or continued progress in English riding disciplines, we offer structured instruction that supports your growth with expert guidance.

Located in Greenwood, Indiana, our facility and training program provide a professional, supportive environment for teens and adults with prior riding experience. Our advanced lessons challenge riders to sharpen their technique, deepen their understanding of horse behavior, and strengthen their communication with the horse.

Lessons are structured to build rider independence, timing, and feel — helping students develop the instincts and control required at higher levels of riding.

We work with each rider to determine a training path that matches their discipline and performance goals.

Experienced Coaching and Quality Horses

Our advanced lessons are led by our professional trainer, who brings a lifetime of experience working with riders of all ages and disciplines. Her coaching style is direct, encouraging, and focused on helping students reach meaningful milestones in their riding.



We also offer access to well-trained school horses capable of supporting advanced work, or riders may work with their own or leased horse under our guidance.

Facility Features

Four Willows Farm provides a calm, well-maintained space for advanced riders to train, with:


  • A 60x150-foot indoor riding arena
  • Outdoor arena
  • Clean grooming and tacking stations
  • A quiet, private setting for focused lessons
  • Year-round instruction in all weather


Our facility supports both regular training and show prep with the space and equipment needed for more technical work.

Competition Preparation Available

For riders pursuing competition, we offer show coaching, preparation, and ring strategy sessions. Riders receive instruction in:


  • Course planning and warm-up routines
  • Mental preparation and focus
  • Correct show attire and horse turnout
  • Show etiquette and scoring insights
  • Confidence-building before and during events



Many of our advanced riders participate in local shows as part of their progression and are supported every step of the way.
